‘What’s Behind That Door?’ Exploring experiential learning with Fellowships@MU and the Les Aspin Center, Nov. 11

The Lemonis Center for Student Success will host “What’s Behind That Door?” on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at noon in the Lemonis Center multipurpose room. The discussion will explore how the center advises students who are considering experimental academic opportunities.

RSVP online by Tuesday, Nov. 10. A light lunch will be provided.

Dr. Karalee Surface, experiential learning and prestigious fellowships coordinator, and Sam Harshner, associate director of the Les Aspin Center, will provide a brief overview of national fellowships. This includes the Les Aspin Center and the Kleczka Program and will act as a gateway to a larger discussion about how audience members can help connect their students with important professional and academic development opportunities.

Participants will not only learn more about these programs but also engage in a more strategic conversation around how our units can best collaborate in identifying students, promoting opportunities and supporting each other in our work.
