Marquette’s 145th Commencement ceremonies will be held Saturday, May 9, at Fiserv Forum, located at 1111 Vel R. Phillips Ave., Milwaukee. Marquette would like to thank our graduates and their families for their patience and understanding as we awaited the Milwaukee Bucks’ potential playoff schedule.
Following is the schedule of events for Commencement weekend:
Evening of Friday, May 8
5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. — President’s Reception on Eckstein Common (east of the Alumni Memorial Union) If there is rain, the event will be moved to the AMU Monaghan Ballrooms. All graduates and their families are invited to attend.
Saturday, May 9
9 a.m. — Baccalaureate Mass at the Al McGuire Center
1 p.m. — Undergraduate Commencement ceremony at Fiserv Forum
5 p.m. — Graduate Commencement ceremony at Fiserv Forum
Guest ticketing process for undergraduate Commencement: what you need to know
Guest tickets for undergraduate Commencement will begin to upload into students’ Marquette Gameday App on April 30 for those who have RSVP’d and requested up to five guest tickets.
Students who have RSVP’d should check their Marquette Gameday App accounts to confirm receipt after April 30.
How to access / transfer tickets for undergraduate Commencement
- For entry into the 2026 undergraduate Commencement ceremony, guests will need to provide a digital ticket. For easy access to digital tickets, direct guests to download the Ticketmaster app.

- Reminder: please transfer tickets to your guests prior to the day of Commencement. Once a ticket is transferred, the guest is the valid ticketholder.

- Fiserv Forum does not accept tickets printed in PDF format. All ticket holders arriving with a PDF ticket will be asked to use their digital ticket to gain entry.
There will be no ticketing requirement nor a limit on guests for the Graduate School, Graduate School of Management and Health Sciences Professional ceremony because of the sizes of those classes.
In keeping with tradition, the School of Dentistry, Law School, Doctor of Physical Therapy program and Master of Athletic Training program will hold separate ceremonies and will not be part of the Fiserv Forum ceremonies. Ceremonies for the Doctor of Occupational Therapy and Master of Physician Assistant Studies programs will be held in August. There will be no other college-specific ceremonies.

Frequently asked questions
What time do doors open at Fiserv Forum?
Doors will open for the undergraduate ceremony at 11 a.m. and at 4 p.m. for the graduate ceremony. Please arrive early to allow time to go through metal detection upon entry.
How long will the ceremony last?
The undergraduate Commencement ceremony will last approximately two and a half hours, while the graduate Commencement ceremony will last about one and a half hours.
Can I bring a bag or purse into Fiserv Forum?
There is a no bag policy at Fiserv Forum. Wallets smaller than 4” x 6” x 1” are permitted. Exceptions to this policy are diaper bags and bags needed due to medical necessity, which will need to be x-rayed by security.
Can I bring flowers to the ceremony to give to my graduate?
Yes, guests can bring flowers.
Can I bring a sign or flag to the ceremony?
There will be no signs or flags allowed into Fiserv Forum for Commencement. All guests will go through security at the entrances.
