Marquette Law School will host a panel discussion, “Executive Power in the Second Trump Administration,” on Wednesday, Sept. 17, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in Eckstein Hall.
The discussion will take place on Constitution Day, which observes the formation of the U.S. Constitution and its signing in 1787.
Across the country, Constitution Day events celebrate the importance of the Constitution and encourage reflection on ongoing constitutional debates.
Faculty experts from the political science department and Marquette Law School will examine the broader constitutional implications of executive actions taken by or at the direction of President Donald Trump, as outlined in Article II of the U.S. Constitution.
Panelists include Dr. Julia Azari, professor and assistant chair of political science, and Chad Oldfather, associate professor of law.
The discussion will be moderated by Christine Chabot, associate professor of law.
RSVP online. Lunch will be provided.
