October’s Lemonis Center Campus Partner Spotlight will feature Campus Recreation and Health Promotion, Prevention and Advocacy, two areas working to support student success and holistic well-being at Marquette. Kris Pullam, associate director of programs and well-being, and Tessa Kohler, assistant director of student health promotion will highlight how recreation, health promotion, prevention and advocacy contribute to students’ well-being and their experience outside of the classroom. This event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 20, starting at noon in the Lemonis Center for Student Success Multipurpose Room.
The session will introduce some of the programs, services and resources available to students. It will highlight current initiatives and emerging opportunities and share ways campus partners can connect students with these areas. Presenters will also discuss how collaboration across campus can help create a culture where students are supported in building healthy habits, finding connection, belonging and thriving throughout their Marquette experience. The session will conclude with time for Q&A and conversation around future opportunities for collaboration.
RSVP online by Monday, Oct. 19.
