These specialists are available for virtual consultations at no cost to eligible individuals. The Marquette medical plans still offer the ability to seek a second opinion from an in-network provider. However, the 2nd.MD benefit provides for an accessible, elite specialist from the comfort of one’s own home, instead of having to wait for months or travel long distances to see a certain provider, all at no cost to the member.
