Sofie Sanchez appointed Director of Graduate School of Management programs

Marquette Business has appointed Sofie Sanchez as the new Director of Graduate School of Management Programs. In this role, Sanchez will provide comprehensive oversight for all graduate business programs, focusing on academic excellence, strategic growth, and alignment with the university’s Jesuit values.

“Sofie’s proven success within our institution and her deep commitment to our mission make her the ideal leader for this role,” said Dr. Andrew Meyer, Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Management. “Her innovative approach to recruitment and partnership has already yielded significant results, and we are confident in her ability to elevate our graduate programs.”

Sanchez steps into the director position from her current role as a graduate program admissions recruiter at Marquette. She has been instrumental in driving an increase of more than 200 percent in MBA program inquiries and expanding the school’s employer partnership network. Prior to her time at Marquette, Sanchez worked at the University of Indianapolis, where she contributed to record enrollment growth, including a 26 percent increase in students from diverse backgrounds. Sanchez holds a Master of Science in Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

The Graduate School of Management houses several nationally recognized programs. U.S. News and World Report ranks Marquette’s part-time MBA program 49th in the country, up 24 spots from the prior year. Six MBA specialties—accounting, business analytics, finance, management, marketing and supply chain—also ranked in the top 20 nationally. Marquette’s Executive MBA program is ranked No. 16 nationally by U.S. News and World Report and No. 31 by Fortune Magazine.
