Marquette Business Honors Convocation recognizes outstanding business students

Dozens of deserving business students received awards at the 2025 Marquette Business Honors Convocation on Sunday, April 6.

The ceremony recognizes award winners at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as inductees to the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit honors society and the Beta Gamma Sigma international business honors society.

“We are immensely proud of the students that earned a spot in this honors ceremony,” says Beth Krey, assistant dean of undergraduate programs. “All of them are high achievers, ethical leaders and have a proven track record of impact both inside and outside the classroom. I was so pleased to see them receive some well-earned recognition.”

Thirteen business students became members of Alpha Sigma Nu, which honors students of Jesuit colleges and universities who distinguish themselves in scholarship, loyalty and service. No more than five percent of the junior and senior class can become members of Alpha Sigma Nu, and all members must rank in the top 15 percent of their class. Selection to Alpha Sigma Nu is one of the highest honors that can be given at a Jesuit institution.

Twenty-eight business students became members of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honors society. BGS honors top-performing students at business schools that are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
