Graduate School of Management climbs in CEO Magazine EMBA, Online MBA rankings

Marquette’s EMBA and Online MBA programs received strong recognition in the 2025 edition of the CEO Magazine rankings. The EMBA placed 25th in the country, up from 28 in 2024, and the online MBA placed 38th, up from 43 in 2024.

The MBA also retained its status as a tier-one program, which is the magazine’s highest designation.

“We are pleased to see our programs earning this level of recognition,” said Karen Rinehart, assistant dean of the Graduate School of Management. “Marquette is focused on offering flexible, rigorous business education for learners at all stages of their careers. These rankings reflect the strong student outcomes and deep faculty expertise that set the Marquette MBA and EMBA apart.”

The online and part-time MBA programs have also been highly ranked by U.S. News & World Report, placing 55th and 73rd, respectively, in the latest version of their category’s rankings. Three specialty programs—marketing, finance and management—placed within the top 20 of their categories.

The Graduate School of Management offers 11 different degree programs and nine different MBA specializations for a customizable learning experience. A blend of hands-on learning, small class sizes and highly collaborative group work prepares GSM students to conduct business with purpose in their chosen fields.
