Justice in Action seeking proposals by March 7

The Justice in Action Programming Committee is soliciting proposals for breakout sessions for the ninth annual Justice in Action conference on Saturday, March 29. This year’s theme is “Solidarity in Action,” with an emphasis on community building.

If you are interested in submitting a proposal, email Christine Little with your name, status (staff, faculty, student) and a short paragraph describing your breakout idea and your preferred format (round table, presentation, panel, etc.). Submissions are due Friday, March 7.

Possible ideas include:

  • What does community look like in your specific area?
  • How do you define community?
  • What do students need to know about being in community together?
  • How can community address our epidemic of loneliness and mental health concerns?
  • How can an Ignatian framework help our understanding of what it means to be in community with each other?
