AHPRC spring seminar series lineup announced 

The Athletic and Human Performance Research Center’s spring seminar series features three leading scientists in health and human performance who will visit Marquette to present their research and network with students, faculty and staff. 

  • Thursday, Feb. 29, at noon: “Harnessing Beneficial Neuroplasticity in Persons with Cerebral Palsy,” presented by Dr. Max Kurz from Boys Town National Research Hospital
  • Thursday, April 11, at noon: “Can Rapamycin Potentiate the Health Benefits of Exercise in Aged Subjects?” presented by Dr. Adam Konopka from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
  • Thursday, May 2, at noon: “Autonomic Regulation of Blood Pressure and Body Temperature: Sex as a Biological Variable,” presented by Dr. Nisha Charkoudian from the U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine
