The Office of Economic Engagement is partnering with the Center for Technology Commercialization and Milwaukee-area universities to present a three-part webinar series titled “From Lab to Market: The Path to Commercialization for Milwaukee Innovators.”
Sessions will provide an overview of how to turn an abstract idea into a tangible product or service that can impact the world. Topics will focus on vetting an idea, protecting intellectual property and funding technology development. The series intends to introduce participants to early steps in getting an idea to market.

- Session 2: “Institution Specific Technology Transfer Practices and Introduction to America’s Largest Seed Fund” | Thursday, Jan. 14, noon to 1 p.m.
- Session 3: “Founders Panel: How Did I Get Here?” | Thursday, Feb. 11, noon to 1 p.m.
