Milwaukee musician Willy Porter produced a 40-minute concert for the students in the Foundations in Methods of Inquiry Core course, “Rock and Roll in the U.S.”
The course, CORE 1929, is co-taught by Dr. Elaine Spiller, associate professor of mathematics and statistical sciences, and Dr. Stephen Saunders, chair and professor of psychology. During the next class, Porter will answer questions from students.
Through song, word and guitar, Porter uses his music to write about love, life, the coronavirus pandemic, the “Black Lives Matter” movement, feminism, veterans, and other timeless and current issues.
