Five members of the Marquette community will be honored for exemplifying the university’s mission of excellence, faith, leadership and service at the 2025 Excellence in University Service and Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Awards Luncheon on Thursday, May 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the AMU Monaghan Ballrooms.

This year’s honorees are:
Excellence in University Service Award
- Eric Benjamin, director of applications in Information Technology Services
- Sara Koenig, coordinator of records and student services in the College of Business Administration
- Steven Robertson, associate director of the Educational Opportunity Program and Pre-College Programs
- Darwin Sanders, IT support associate in Raynor Library
Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award
Marquette’s Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award was established to recognize one faculty member and one staff member who demonstrate exemplary leadership and have shown an ability to put the ideals of diversity, equity and inclusion into practical action.
The 2025 Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Staff Award winner is Taylor Rose Pamperin, graduate student success and programming specialist in the College of Nursing.
