Join the Center for Teaching and Learning for a talk with Dr. Leah Flack, professor of English and academic director of Narrative 4 at Marquette, for an explanation on how Narrative 4 story exchanges can help faculty build communities in their classes on Monday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to noon in CTL 330B.
Story exchanges increase cognitive and emotional empathy and help students to engage with their peers and instructors in meaningful ways. Participants will try out some short storytelling activities, learn how they can schedule visits from trained campus N4 story exchange facilitators and find out how to get trained to run their own exchanges.
