Visit the second floor of the Alumni Memorial Union from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a celebration of Blue and Give Marquette Day.

Give Marquette Day is a 24-hour fundraising event that brings the Marquette community together to build additional support for the people, places and programs that create a transformative Marquette education.

The festivities will feature free coffee, a hot cocoa bar, custom birthday cookies, Blue stickers and more. The campus community is additionally invited to sign Blue’s birthday banner and take pictures with the birthday boy from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Blue is encouraging gifts in support of the Bridge to the Future Fund, an emergency fund that helps current students in financial need stay at Marquette. All student donors will receive a pair of spirit socks in person. Plus, brothers David Trautschold, Eng ’06, and Matt Trautschold, Eng ’04, will give $50 on behalf of each student donor, up to 200 donors.

Find a golden ticket

There will be a special opportunity for students to participate in Give Marquette Day. from noon until 1 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union.

Twelve student donors will find a golden ticket in their socks which awards a matching gift of $500 to the area of their choice thanks to members of our Young Alumni Leadership Council (YALC). One lucky winner of the Blue and Golden Ticket will be able to award $700 to their favorite cause at MU. Don’t miss your chance to make an impact.
