A prayer service will be held in remembrance of Marquette University Police Department Officer Scott Metz on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 5 p.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Family. Officer Metz, who had served the campus community since 2006, passed away from a cardiac event while participating in an off-duty mountain bike race on Saturday, July 26.
Rev. John Thiede, vice president for mission and ministry, will preside. A reception will follow in the AMU Lunda Room immediately after the service.
