Dr. Dulal K. Bhaumik, professor of psychiatry, biostatistics and bioengineering and director of the Biostatistical Research Center at University of Illinois Chicago, will present the Mathematical and Statistical Sciences Colloquium on Friday, March 28, at 1 p.m.

Bhaumik’s talk, “Development of a Bayesian multimodal model to detect biomarkers in neuroimaging studies,” will present a statistical model that combines brain imaging data to identify biological markers of late-life depression.
