Dr. Lauren Toth, research physical scientist at the U.S. Geological Survey St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center, will present the biological sciences seminar on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 3 p.m. in Wehr Life Sciences 111. Toth’s research examines the impacts of natural and anthropogenic environmental change on coral reef ecosystems.
The Biological Sciences Department’s Seminar Series is supported by the Scholl Endowment. Eminent scientists are invited to the department to deliver seminars, and students have ample opportunity to engage these scientists in individual or group conversation.
