Three full-time faculty members in the Marquette University School of Dentistry were named to the inaugural list of Castle Connolly Top Dentists, representing the top 10% of dentists nationwide.
Dr. Arndt Guentsch, professor and chair of the department of surgical and diagnostic sciences, Dr. Cesar Gonzalez, associate professor and chair of the department of developmental sciences, and Dr. Michael Grady, clinical professor and CPMG leader, were each selected from more than 200,000 practicing dentists representing all 50 states and 12 dental specialties. The list also includes several adjunct faculty members and Marquette alumni.
Castle Connolly, a leading healthcare research organization, annually releases top doctor distinctions; 2026 marks the first year for the dental profession. The selections were made based on peer nominations, professional achievements and excellence in patient care.
