The newly formed Women and Family Health Research Community will hold its first interest meeting on Thursday, Dec. 4, at noon in the CTL large classroom (Raynor Library 330B). The session is hosted by the Institute for Women’s Leadership.
The meeting will bring together scholars from across the university who share a commitment to advancing the health and well-being of women and families. Attendees will have the chance to connect with other researchers interested in women and family health and will help brainstorm goals for the community in five key areas: interdisciplinary collaboration, community engagement, capacity-building for research, best-practice integration and sustainability through funding.
Faculty from all departments, schools and colleges at Marquette are welcome to join for lunch and discussion.
Those who share a passion for women and family health, align with the Institute for Women’s Leadership’s mission and vision, and are eager to contribute to interdisciplinary research are invited to attend this working lunch session.
Registration is available online.
