All Saints Day celebrations on Oct. 31, Nov. 1

All are invited to join the All Saints Day annual celebration held by Campus Ministry.  The Solemn Feast of All Saints, celebrated throughout the Christian world, recognizes all the holy women and men who manifest God’s love for us and who serve as models and inspirations for us as we continue our pilgrimage.

In honor of this Feast, opportunities for mass will be offered on campus:

  • Vigil Mass on Thursday, Oct. 31, at 10 p.m. at the St. Joan of Arc Chapel
  • Mass of the Day on Friday, Nov. 1, at:
    • 7:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Family
    • 8:30 a.m. in the St. Joan of Arc Chapel
    • Noon in the Chapel of the Holy Family

The Solemnity of All Saints is a day of precept for all Roman Catholics.

“Almighty ever-living God,

by whose merits we venerate in one celebration

the merits of all the Saints,

bestow on us, we pray,

through the prayers of so many intercessors,

an abundance of the reconciliation with you

for which we earnestly long.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, God for ever an ever. Amen.”
