IT Services has partnered with the SANS Institute and Litmos to provide updated content for Marquette’s cybersecurity awareness education platform to mark the start of Cybersecurity Awareness Month in October.
This platform provides essential tips on protecting data, devices and accounts. Key topics include recognizing social engineering, safe browsing, mobile security and creating strong passwords. Optional mini-games and Generative AI (GenAI) modules are also available.
All active Marquette faculty and staff can access the training online by logging in with their Marquette username and password. Once logged in, click the “Cybersecurity Awareness 2024” tile under “My Training” to begin.
The new cybersecurity awareness training cycle will start Tuesday, Oct. 1. Participants will have 90 days to complete the training. Notifications regarding the availability of the training content will be sent via email from “Marquette University.” It is mandatory for all Marquette faculty and staff to complete this course.
For questions about the cybersecurity awareness platform, or to report suspicious activity, please contact IT Services Information Security at security@marquette.edu.
