Congratulations to our students who will graduate in May 2024! Marquette University looks forward to honoring your many accomplishments.
Marquette’s 143rd Commencement ceremony will be held on either Saturday, May 11, or Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Fiserv Forum, located at 1111 Vel R. Phillips Ave., Milwaukee. The exact date is dependent upon the Milwaukee Bucks’ schedule; the university expects to be notified by the Bucks organization regarding the date by mid-spring semester. A formal announcement will be made at that time.
The undergraduate ceremony will be held in the morning. The Graduate School, Graduate School of Management and Health Sciences professional candidates’ ceremony will be held in the afternoon. Dates and times will be announced in spring.
In keeping with tradition, the School of Dentistry, Law School and some College of Health Sciences’ professional programs will hold separate ceremonies and will not be part of the Fiserv Forum ceremonies; details will be announced later. There will be no other college-specific ceremonies.
Guest tickets will again be required for the undergraduate Commencement ceremony. Each undergraduate student who will be attending the ceremony may invite up to six guests, and each guest will require an electronic ticket to enter Fiserv Forum. Graduating students themselves will not need a ticket.
There will be no ticketing requirement nor a limit on guests for the Graduate School, Graduate School of Management and Health Sciences Professional Candidates ceremony because of the size of those classes.
This spring, the university will provide details on the electronic ticketing process. Please watch Marquette Today and the Commencement website for these updates.
Both the undergraduate and graduate Commencement ceremonies will also be livestreamed.
Baccalaureate Mass will be held on either Friday, May 10, or Saturday, May 11, at the Al McGuire Center on campus. The time will be announced in spring.
A reception celebrating the Class of 2024 will be held on Friday, May 10, at 5 p.m., on Ray and Kay Eckstein Common (the outdoor gathering space east of the Alumni Memorial Union.) The reception will be hosted by President Michael R. Lovell and the Marquette University Jesuit Community.
All graduating Marquette students, their families, faculty and staff are welcome to attend the Baccalaureate Mass and the reception celebrating the Class of 2024.
More information can be found on the Commencement website.
