New Marquette Today website features enhanced visuals, college-specific homepages

The Office of University Relations has launched a new Marquette Today website featuring a more visual and mobile-friendly design, college- and topic-specific homepages, enhanced search functionality, and improved capability to showcase photo galleries and videos.

Marquette Today is the primary communication vehicle for sharing university news with faculty, staff and students. The website houses content shared with campus via a daily, emailed Marquette Today newsletter, which include campus news, events, research, awards and accomplishments, media placements, human interest stories on students, faculty and staff, and feature articles on strategic university initiatives. The newsletter receives open rates over 40%, twice the industry average.

The Marquette Today website additionally houses feature stories from Marquette Magazine, as well as digital features highlighting the university’s colleges and professional schools.

“Over the past two years, we have worked to take Marquette Today to the next level, creating a timely central news source for students, faculty and staff to stay apprised of university strategic initiatives, learn about campus happenings and discover what is best about Marquette,“ said Paul Jones, vice president for university relations and general counsel. “Our new Marquette Today website is the next step in that evolution, bringing a ‘digital first’ mindset to university information sharing and storytelling, combining timely and compelling written content with striking visuals.”

The Office of University Relations has launched the new Marquette Today website in a beta period. Please let OUR know if you discover any technical issues with the site via this form.
