Staff Senate to host Gen Z book club starting March 27

Generation Z (individuals born between approximately 1995 and 2010) are our current and future students here at Marquette. In addition, the older members of this generation are now part of our workforce. This makes Gen Z an integral piece of our campus landscape in numerous ways.

University Staff Senate plans to host a book club to discuss Dr. Corey Seemiller’s book “Gen Z Goes to College,” to get to know our students and coworkers while also building a cross-campus community. Learn more about Seemiller’s research here.

The group will meet on Monday, March 27, and Tuesday, April 11, from noon to 1 p.m. On Tuesday, April 25, Seemiller will virtually facilitate a discussion with the group.

Through the support of the library, University Staff Senate has access to electronic versions of the book. Please fill out the interest form for further details on the book and meetings or reach out to staff.senate@marquette.edu.
