The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department will host a colloquium on aligning academic and industry research — and in the process maybe even starting your own company — with Morris Panner, president of Intelerad Medical Systems, on Tuesday, March 28, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Olin Engineering 202.

The event will start with the way incremental research can complement existing products in the market, move to ways to differentiate between developing a product versus building a company and finally how to take the leap into company formation and different financing strategies.
