The 707 Hub, home to the Kohler Center for Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation Initiative, is inviting students to take part in a bathroom design challenge.
The contest, called “Redo the Loo: 707 Hub’s Restroom Redesign Challenge,” encourages students from all colleges and majors to try their hand at redesigning the restrooms inside the 707 Hub.
Students interested in participating in the multi-phase redesign challenge can apply online now through midnight Jan. 28. No prior design experience is necessary.
Those selected to go on to the next round of the challenge will be notified by Jan. 30. Chosen applicants will have a chance to go behind the scenes at the Kohler Co., work collaboratively with Kohler employees and fellow peers to develop new skills, expand their network and foster real change on campus.
The winning design will be used to transform the restrooms.
In addition to engaging students of all disciplines, the challenge is meant to celebrate the centennial of the university’s valued partnership with Kohler. Kohler is sponsoring the design challenge.
For more information about the challenge, including important dates and time commitments, visit the 707 Hub website. Faculty interested in integrating the Redo the Loo challenge with their class this semester should reach out to 707hub@marquette.edu.
