Sponsored by the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion, the Wings Scholarship provides opportunities for low-income students to engage in a credit-bearing study abroad experience. Eight students will receive an airfare stipend of up to $1,250 each to participate in study abroad programs.
Scholarship applications for summer 2020 programs or academic year 2020-2021 programs are due by Sunday, March 1.
To apply, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a low-income student, defined by Pell-eligibility or equivalent
- Be eligible for and apply to one of the credit-bearing study abroad programs by March 1, 2020
- Agree to participate in all assessment components before, during and after the program
Applicants will be reviewed based on financial need and the content of application responses. Awardees will be notified by March 13 and will work with the Office of International Education to purchase their plane tickets.
