Dr. Kristy Nielson, professor of psychology in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, seeks volunteers, especially those age 35 and over, for memory studies designed to distinguish individuals likely to experience healthy aging from those at greater risk for Alzheimer’s disease.
Participation in the study involves memory testing and non-invasive EEG brain scans, with the option for future follow-up. Participants will receive compensation. Qualified participants are in good general health and do not have Alzheimer’s disease (mild memory difficulties are permitted). Individuals who have family members who have/had Alzheimer’s disease are particularly needed.
