The impact of a Marquette Business education extends far beyond campus and long after graduation. From top-ranking programs that support student success to strong career outcomes driven by lifelong learning, Marquette Business provides a foundation for growth and a framework for continued education; one that attracts, retains and propels students long into their careers.
Guided by Catholic, Jesuit values, Marquette Business prepares students with the knowledge, professional development, and industry connection necessary to hit the ground running from day one. More than an education, students embark on a transformational experience that prepares them to serve as ethical, impactful leaders.
Student Success
From the moment first-year students step foot on campus, they’re met with expert faculty and world-class resources that fuel growth and propel potential. With 11 specialized centers and programs and a college-specific Business Career Center, students experience applied learning opportunities in their fields and benefit from personalized career readiness services. These factors not only support current students but help attract prospective ones. In 2025-26 Marquette Business welcomed approximately 420 first-year freshmen, record-high enrollment for the college. And, once enrolled, students choose to stay.

Marquette Business’s high retention rate is no accident — it reflects the support students receive in the program and the value they find in their business education. Undergraduates are empowered to make the most of their time, with 63% of students earning more than one business major and 83% completing an internship prior to graduation, while 42% complete two internships or more. Living out Marquette’s Jesuit values, 80% of students engage in community service during their undergraduate years.
“There is no shortage of real-world learning experiences,” says Toni Coca, a senior studying finance and real estate. “For instance, my involvement in case competitions gave me entry into the world of real estate. The tremendous amount of learning that goes into preparing for these competitions offers a glimpse into life after college. You really get a sense for what the industry is like.”
Rankings based on Impact
The Marquette Business experience doesn’t just stand out at the local level — it shines on the national stage. In March 2026, Marquette was named a “Best Undergraduate Business School of 2026” in the U.S. by Poets&Quants.

Alumni reviews slated Marquette Business among the best in program success, career coaching, soft skills development, faculty mentoring outside of class and high recommendation to peers.
“There is a very strong culture of support for students at Marquette,” says Samantha Zingsheim, Bus Ad ‘25, who earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the College of Business Administration. “I think that is something to be appreciated and celebrated in academics.”
This support doesn’t stop once “Pomp and Circumstance” is cued. Six months after graduation, 92% of undergraduate students are employed or in school. Marquette’s Graduate School of Management is an exceptional next step, housing top 50 MBA programs. Upon graduation, Marquette graduate degree holders earn a $86,000 starting salary on average.
Lifelong Learning
After alumni earn their diplomas and enter their industries, growth opportunities remain abundant at Marquette. Committed to supporting professional growth at each career stage, Marquette Business Executive Education and Professional Development provides learning and development opportunities for working professionals. In 2025, Executive Education delivered 300+ hours of training for hundreds of business professionals — a growing facet of Marquette Business offering highly-customizable, expert-led courses that align with organizational needs and address unique business strategies.
“Marquette’s Executive Education courses have played a critical role in shaping Husco’s leadership pipeline,” says Angie Stemo, MBA ‘05, vice president of global human capital at Husco International. “With over 30 graduates now leading teams and functions, the Bridge to Business program gave our engineers the business acumen needed to make better decisions, lead more effectively, and deliver greater impact across the organization.”
Executive Education courses span a wide variety of topics, including leadership, sales and marketing, finance, insurance, AI and more. Sessions and workshops cater to organizations of all sizes, from five employees to thousands. Amid this range, one factor remains constant: participant satisfaction.

As business leaders navigate undergraduate, graduate and professional chapters, Marquette is prepared to support growth and fuel innovation each step of the way. A Marquette Business education is much more than a diploma – it’s a way of navigating the world with ethical, impactful and service-centered leadership.
