Counseling services and pastoral support are available to faculty, staff and students as the university holds in care all those affected by the conflict in the Middle East. Several university offices are also working to provide additional direct support to impacted students.
Whether you, your friends or family have been impacted, Marquette University is here to support you.

Guidance on international travel
In advance of Spring Break, the university is also providing travel guidance and an update on study abroad programs given ongoing conflicts around the world, including continued unrest in some parts of Mexico.
- Faculty, staff and students who are traveling outside the U.S. under the auspices of Marquette University (for research, teaching, conference attendance, etc., but not for personal vacations) are reminded that international travel registration with the Office of International Education is required.
- Marquette is not canceling any study abroad programs at this time. The Office of International Education is closely monitoring world events and will contact impacted students, faculty and staff if necessary.
- Anyone who plans to travel outside the U.S. is reminded to consult the U.S. Department of State international travel page and specific travel advisory information for their destination country. It is also recommended to review the Worldwide Caution issued by USDOS and to enroll in the USDOS Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (S.T.E.P.).
