Andy Hunt, Linda Gorens-Levey named to BizTimes Milwaukee’s Notable Leaders in Real Estate

Andy Hunt, executive director of the Vieth Institute for Real Estate Leadership, and Linda Gorens-Levey, executive-in-resident in the Vieth Institute, were named to BizTimes Milwaukee’s Notable Leaders in Real Estate.

Hunt collaborates closely with deans and faculty across the College of Business Administration, Opus College of Engineering and Marquette University Law School to advance the Institute’s mission, with a focus on interdisciplinary initiatives and applied learning.

As an executive-in-residence, Gorens-Levey works with students on professional development, including resume reviews, mock interviews and case competition preparation. She is a partner at Fox-Point-based General Capital Group, where she works on new developments, built-to-suit opportunities, and portfolio and asset management.

Marquette’s real estate program was ranked 12th in the country by U.S. News and World Report in 2025. Over the past three years, 90% of graduating seniors with real estate as their primary major either found employment within six months of graduation or continued their schooling elsewhere.

Two alumnae were also named to the list:

  • Alexandra Appenzeller, shareholder at Milwaukee-based von Briesen & Roper s.c.
  • Nicole Robbins, executive director of the Martin Luther King Economic Development Corp.

Notable Leaders in Real Estate is part of BizTimes Milwaukee’s Notable series, which recognizes leaders in the southeastern Wisconsin business community.
