RED Folder: a guide to identifying, responding to and referring students showing signs of distress

Marquette’s CARE Team, in collaboration with the National Association for Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment, developed the RED Folder as a quick-reference tool to help faculty and staff recognize, respond to and refer students who may be experiencing distress.

The RED Folder provides clear guidance on identifying signs of concern, offering compassionate support and connecting students to campus resources that can help.

Faculty and staff are invited to share feedback on how the RED Folder is being used and how it can be improved to better support the Marquette community. Responses are requested by Friday, Oct. 17, through the RED Folder Usage Survey
