The Marquette University Physician Assistant Studies program was recently granted continued accreditation until July 2033 from its accrediting body, the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant.
“We are happy with ARC-PA’s decision and grateful for our program faculty and staff’s diligent work to maintain the high level of instruction necessary for our students to succeed,” said Dr. William E. Cullinan, dean of the College of Health Sciences.
As a result of the accreditation review, students in the program have multiple new opportunities to work with certified physicians in pediatric, women’s health and family medicine environments during their clinical fieldwork.
“I cannot thank our faculty and staff enough for the hours they’ve put in the last two years to ensure our students are receiving a premier education that sets them up to be mission-driven leaders,” said Josh Knox, chair and clinical professor of physician assistant studies. “I’m excited to see how our program evolves in the coming years to continue offering experiences in emerging technologies and new therapies.”
By completing this reaccreditation process, Marquette’s Physician Assistant Studies program has been accredited continuously for over 25 years.
