President Kimo Ah Yun will deliver his first Presidential Address on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the AMU Monaghan Ballrooms. All faculty, staff and students are invited and encouraged to bring an item in support of the Open Your Heart Food Drive.
To provide a more meaningful moment of reflection and forward-looking vision, the annual President’s Address will take place annually in November starting this fall. The new timing provides an opportunity to look back on some notable accomplishments by members of the Marquette community during the past year while previewing upcoming initiatives, events and milestones.
Given the event’s timing in the Thanksgiving season, President Ah Yun will also share a message of gratitude. The Gospel Choir will sing a prelude beginning at 9:55 a.m.
The address will be livestreamed by the Marquette Wire. A radio stream is also available from MUR.
Those interested in donating to the Open Your Heart Food Drive, which supports Marquette’s Backpack Program, can drop off items at various locations across campus leading up to the date of the Presidential Address.
