Faculty Friday: Food Truck Edition, Sept. 26

The Office of Faculty Affairs and the Division of Belonging and Student Affairs will co-host the first Faculty Friday: Food Truck Edition on Friday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (or until food runs out) in Lot A on the west side of the Alumni Memorial Union. Picnic tables will be available outside and space will be reserved inside the AMU in case of inclement weather.

This Faculty Friday luncheon will feature two food trucks serving American fare and Mexican food. Faculty who show their faculty MUID at the event are eligible to receive a free lunch ticket to be used at either food truck.

An initiative representing the collaboration of the associate vice provost for faculty affairs, the acting vice president for belonging and student affairs, and the chief wellness officer, “Faculty Fridays” encompasses a series of programming to help build community and a sense of belonging among faculty across the university. All faculty are welcome and encouraged to attend as they are able.

Future Faculty Friday editions will be communicated through the Office of Faculty Affairs. Faculty with questions or suggestions for Faculty Friday events should contact Conor Kelly, Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, at conor.kelly@marquette.edu
