Larry Birkett, director of retail and licensing, was named the Licensing Director of the Year by the NIL Store. The honor recognizes the name, image and likeness director who went above and beyond on behalf of their student-athletes in collaboration with the NIL Store.
“Larry has been a north star in the complex world of licensing,” said Adam Cook, vice president of Campus Ink Sports and the NIL Store. “His vision for how apparel impacts his athletes has been the tip of the spear for NIL apparel.”
Birkett is in his 22nd year at Marquette. He was promoted to his current role in July of 2022, now managing all retail operations and logo licensing for the athletic department and university.
