Marquette University’s Staff Senate is seeking nominations for its upcoming election.
There are five openings on Staff Senate: two for academic representatives, two for administrative representatives and one at-large. Any full-time or regular part-time employee is eligible as long as the following criteria are met:
- Primary designation is staff (as opposed to faculty or student)
- Has been employed by Marquette for at least one year as of May 1, 2025
- Not represented by a collective bargaining unit
Interested individuals can nominate themselves. The nominations form is open Thursday, April 10, through Monday, May 19. Elections will be held Tuesday, June 17, through Friday, June 27. Questions can be sent to staff.senate@marquette.edu.
University Staff Senate is a group of elected individuals who represent Marquette University staff so that their views and interests may be considered, alongside those of faculty and students, in the conduct of institutional affairs that affect life in the workplace and in the advancement of the university’s mission.
