Diederich College of Communication hosts annual Scholarship Week, April 22–24

The Diederich College of Communication will celebrate its annual Scholarship Week from April 22–24, highlighting the research and creative work of faculty and graduate students. The three-day event features presentations, a keynote lecture and a poster session showcasing scholarly achievements across the college.

Wednesday, April 23

Brown Bag Lunch and Learn Session: “Navigating Strategies for a New Business and Philanthropic Endeavors” featuring Christiana Trapani, alumna and owner of Door County Candle Company

Noon to 1:00 pm in Johnston Hall 310

Thursday, April 24

Faculty and Graduate Student Poster Session

11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the fifth floor of Johnston Hall

Keynote Lecture: “Unhealthy Skepticism: Distrust in a Digital Age” delivered by Dr. Jacob L. Nelson, associate professor of Communication at the University of Utah

2:30 to 4 p.m. in Marquette Hall 100
