Participate in Undocu-Ally Week, Oct. 21-25 

The Marquette DREAMers student organization, the Office of Inclusion and Belonging, and other campus partners will host the second annual Undocu-Ally Week Oct. 21-25. This series of programs is designed to raise awareness of the challenges that undocumented/DACAmented students and members of mixed status families face and to celebrate their accomplishments. All students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the week’s programming:

  • Soup with Substance: The Undocu Experience
    • Wednesday, Oct. 16 | Noon in the AMU Lunda Room
  • Monday, Oct. 21: T-shirt and sticker sale
  • Healing yoga and sound bath for those affected by immigration status issues with Parisa Yoga Shala
    • Monday, Oct. 21| 6 p.m. in Raynor Library’s Beaumier Suites
    • Advance registration is required and can be found online.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 22: Undocu-Ally crash course
    • Tuesday, Oct. 22 | 5 p.m. in AMU 252
    • Advance registration is encouraged, but not required, and can be found online
  • Wednesday, Oct. 23: Black & Brown Get Down: Raices Ancestrales
    • Wednesday, Oct. 23| 5 p.m. in the Lemonis Center multipurpose room 
  • Thursday, Oct. 24: LLC Workshop
    • Thursday, Oct. 24 | 5 p.m. in AMU 252
    • Advance registration is encouraged, but not required, and can be found online
  • Tea in the RC: Undocuqueer
    • Friday, Oct. 25 | 2 p.m. at the LGBTQ+ Resource Center, AMU 140 
  • Undocu-Ally Celebration
    • Friday, Oct. 25 | 4 p.m. at the 707 Hub
