The Office of the Provost is accepting nominations to serve on the Participating Faculty Committee. The committee addresses issues of importance to members of the Marquette faculty — full- and part-time — hired on a participating or non-tenure track line. There is currently one open spot on the committee.
The Participating Faculty Committee focuses on how to improve the lived experience of participating faculty and addresses issues that include, but are not limited to, Total Rewards (including compensation and benefits), professional development, recognition, inclusion, and performance review and promotion.
Full- or part-time participating faculty members employed at Marquette for at least two-and-a-half continuous years can apply for one open position. Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in the work of the committee and be willing to serve a two-year term.
Those interested should complete the application form and submit it to John Su, vice provost for academic affairs and student success, and chair of the Participating Faculty Committee, through the Faculty Affairs email (faculty.affairs@marquette.edu).
The Participating Faculty Committee includes five members of the participating faculty along with the provost’s designee and an individual from the Office of University Relations. The committee works collaboratively on behalf of participating faculty across the university and is accountable to the provost.
