Looking to keep up with the latest news, events and inspiring stories around campus? Look no further.
Marquette Today is the university’s primary communication vehicle to share information with students, faculty and staff. A daily email newsletter is sent Monday through Friday during the academic year, featuring Marquette-centric news, events, research, awards and accomplishments, media placements, photo galleries, and feature articles highlighting the people and initiatives that make Marquette great.
All content is housed on the recently redesigned Marquette Today website. The visual and mobile-friendly website includes topic- and college-specific homepages, allowing you to filter based on your interests. These also feature bonus content applicable to more niche audiences.
Ensure you’re up to date on the latest by following Marquette Today’s social media accounts: Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).
How to submit to Marquette Today
Marquette Today submissions can be made via this form, which is available on the Marquette Today website or by clicking the “Submit News Online” button found at the bottom of every Marquette Today newsletter.
Is my submission a fit for Marquette Today?
The audience for Marquette Today is first and foremost an internal one – faculty, staff and students. Given the broad audience, items included must be applicable to most of campus (i.e., department-specific events or events only open to a small group would not be a fit for Marquette Today and should be promoted via other communication channels).
Indicate in your submission if your content is more relevant to faculty and staff or students, or relevant to both audiences.
Only Marquette-related news is publicized via Marquette Today. Events must be hosted/co-hosted by an official Marquette group or organization to be included in Marquette Today. Student groups can submit events that are open to the greater campus community.
Complete submission guidelines are available on the Marquette Today website. With questions, email Jack Goods, communication specialist in the Office of University Relations.
