U.S. News releases 2024-25 Best Engineering Graduate Program rankings 

U.S. News and World Report today released its 2024-25 Best Engineering Graduate Program rankings, and many Marquette programs held relatively steady or moved up over last year’s rankings. 

Highlights include the civil engineering program, which moved up 10 spots and into the top 100 at 97. Environmental engineering remains in the top 65, and Marquette improved overall from 142 to 135 among best engineering graduate schools. 

Following is Marquette’s full list of engineering graduate program rankings for 2024-25. (Figures in parentheses represent the program’s previous ranking.) 

  • Overall — 135 (142) 
  • Biomedical engineering — 90 (88) 
  • Civil engineering — 97 (107) 
  • Computer rngineering — 122 (104) 
  • Electrical/electronic/communications engineering — 147 (122) 
  • Environmental/environmental health engineering — 65 (64) 
  • Mechanical engineering — 131 (151)
