Marquette My Wellness program honored with Excellence in Wellness award 

Marquette University’s My Wellness program received the Excellence in Wellness Award from the university’s wellness partner, Marquee Health, for a second consecutive year. This honor is given to organizations for positively impacting the physical, mental and emotional health of their employees. 

More than 750 companies were evaluated for their commitment to employee well-being using criteria including total well-being support, strong leadership support and participation, and effective wellness programs and initiatives.

As a reminder, the 2023-24 My Wellness year is halfway over. Log in to earn points from activities such as visiting your primary care provider, walking 8,000 steps a day and attending a preventive care visit. 

Upcoming wellness opportunities 

The Fit2Be Cancer Free Challenge kicked off on Thursday, April 18. The goal is to complete 70 miles of movement between April 18 and May 9. Participants can compete against each other and view the progress of other organizations in the MoveSpring portal. Learn more about how to sign up and participate on the Employee Wellness website

Other opportunities: 

  • Walk this Way My Wellness Challenge | Monday, April 29, through Sunday, June 2 
    • Walk 50,000 steps each week for four weeks to earn 25 My Wellness points. Registration opens Monday, April 29. 
  • Poker Walk | May 22 
    • Walk the Marquette Mile starting from Central Mall for a chance to earn prizes for top poker hands and other giveaways. There will be snacks and refreshments provided.
