Students are invited to a free dinner with Ignite during Mission Week on Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the AMU Lunda Room. The evening will also feature engaging community, an inspiring speaker and prayer.
Ignite will welcome Rev. Brendan McManus, S.J., as its Mission Week speaker. Fr. McManus is a Jesuit from Ireland, a best-selling author and spiritual director. Rev. McManus will be speaking on “Finding God in the Mess.”
If you’re interested in meeting new people and exploring new perspectives on seeing God’s presence amid everyday life – especially in the real moments of life – and how to live more mindfully, come to Ignite this week. Limited free copies of Fr. McManus’ book, “Finding God in the Mess: Meditations on Mindful Living,” will be available.
Ignite offers Marquette students an inspiring experience of college community, Catholic faith and prayer welcoming all at Marquette.
