As event preparations for the new year commence, Near West Side Partners invites local organizations to be a part of its community calendar. Near West Side Partners actively encourages event submissions, providing an excellent opportunity for neighbors, local businesses and fellow Near West Side organizations to share neighborhood happenings with the broader community.
See below for instructions on how to add your organization’s community gathering to the Near West Side Partners calendar. It is encouraged that you provide all the details of your event, including the event name, date, time, venue and a brief description. Please pay close attention to the prompts provided in the submission process.
Event submission instructions:
- Select the “News & Events” tab in the drop-down menu of the Near West Side Partners website homepage.
- Select “View Full Calendar,” underneath “Upcoming Events.”
- Input your event information in the “Add New Event” form fill box, underneath the community calendar.
- After inputting all necessary information, select the blue “Submit Event” button.
- Consider including an image to help your event stand out and a link to the event’s website so Near West Side residents can find more information.
Please note, there may be a delay in the event publication. Every submitted event undergoes a thorough review by the Near West Side team before being posted. If your event does not appear right away, there is no need to resubmit. The Near West Partners team is working diligently to ensure your event is published.
