The Arrupe Center for Community Service and Social Responsibility is hosting the Justice in Action Conference on Saturday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union. The JIA is a one-day student-focused conference to explore your role in service, community and social change. Register online by March 15.
JIA is a time to develop new skills and knowledge on social justice, foster civic dialogue, and challenge perspectives on social systems. This year’s theme is “Solidarity in Action.” Solidarity in Action embraces seeking justice within community. This encompasses a wide range of topics such as mutual aid, allyship and education.
