Marquette professor to speak on electric vehicle panel, Jan. 11

Dr. Ayman EL-Refaie, Thomas and Suzanna M. Werner Endowed Chair in Secure and Renewable Energy Systems and professor of electrical and computer engineering in the Opus College of Engineering, will discuss the latest EV trends at a Wisconsin Tech Council event on Thursday, Jan. 11, at the UW-Milwaukee Innovation Accelerator.

EL-Refaie will be joined on a panel by Mark Bendermember of Godfrey & Kahn’s energy, tribal law, environmental, ESG political law practice groups; Dan Nordloh, senior vice president, general manager of EnTech Solutions, a division of Faith Technologies; and Paul Gogan, Eng ’86, Grad ’00, director for electric distribution asset management for WEC Energy Group.

Registration, networking and hors d’oeuvres start at 11:30 a.m. and the presentation at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for students and returning veterans, $25 for individual members, $35 for non-members and included for Tech Council corporate members. Register here.
