Marquette students called to Be The Difference on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28

Marquette students are invited to participate in Giving Tuesday, a global day of unity and caring, on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Gifts will support the Backpack Program, a free confidential service that provides groceries and toiletries to Marquette students.

Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., students can head to the second floor of the Alumni Memorial Union to make a gift. Donors will receive a special thank you gift and the opportunity to spin a prize wheel. The first 100 students will get an Insomnia cookie.

This year alone, the Backpack Program has provided over 5,000 meals to current students in need. If even just five students donate $5 each, that has the power to feed a student for a full week.
