The funeral for Rev. Frank A. Majka, S.J., has been scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Church of the Gesu, 1145 W. Wisconsin Ave.
Father Majka died on Sept. 7 at St. Camillus Jesuit Community. He was 78 years old.
Father Majka was the former associate director of Campus Ministry and a hall minister at Marquette. He was beloved by many for his informal style of “coffee shop ministry” and his constant guidance to Marquette’s student body.
Visitation begins at 8:30 a.m. and a reception will immediately follow after the Mass.
Father Majka’s burial will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 2.
